Cape May is a stunning Christmas destination that feels like stepping into a holiday postcard.

I stayed at the Marquis de Lafayette, where the lobby was beautifully adorned with festive decorations, setting the perfect holiday mood.

Lunch at The Mad Batter was a highlight—especially the fish and chips, which were absolutely out of this world.

The town itself was magical, with Victorian mansions glowing in colorful lights everywhere you turned. Strolling through the streets felt like being in a storybook, with something beautiful to admire at every glance.

One of the best experiences was the Holiday Lights Tour. It was such a fun and relaxing way to take in the town’s charm without the hassle of driving.

Cape May during Christmas is truly an enchanting experience, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a festive getaway.

Visited here on October 20th with my partner, and it was a very lovely and lively Sunday. There was a parade that happened near by, and lots of locals and tourists too. Last but not least, plenty of restaurants and shops!

Fun little quaint & funky shopping area.

We bought iced coffee, taffy and fudge, ice cream, jerky and a cool rattan bowl. Something for everyone with plenty of live music and outdoor seating.

I think going on a Tuesday was the right move; I'm sure it's packed on weekends!

Love all the stores, very colorful , fall decorations, halloween decorations around, delicious food , spaces for photos. Paid parking around, we ate at the ugly mug and tried the lobster, it was good.

This mall area is a must go when you are in Cape May. The number of stores, restaurants, and shops are too numerous to mention. The layout and the ambiance make for a delightful walk. Stop by and enjoy!

It was eye-catching and quaint. I visited on a Thursday night, so it was not packed with people, making it possible to appreciate the details without the hustle and bustle.

I've now added it to my list of happy places!
