Wouldn’t trust anyone else to touch mine and my girl’s hair. She always listens and makes us feel at ease being in a lovely environment in the shop. Wouldn’t have any other hair dresser . Kara is stuck with us ? xx

Took my daughter in for a hair cut. What a brilliant job Kara done. My daughter absolutely loves her new style. Kara has given her a fresh burst of confidence and made her feel so comfortable in the chair.

Not impressed. I went in for some baby lights to get rid of my dark roots.
I had a consultation first with Mirren and she was confident she could do a good job with my hair.
I left the salon thinking it was not too bad but truth be told I was a bit in denial and really wanted to love it. When I went to a different hairdresser I realised how unsatisfying the previous result was. It’s also quite disheartening that mid highlights she changed technique and started just packing bleach on my hair which resulted in a decent piece of it now being burnt and ruined. It felt like she got tired and just wanted to finish it as soon as possible. They also only offer two types of toner and use them as default without really assessing what the hair might need and how to achieve a certain result.
My hair was quite uneven and yellow, with a very harsh line near the root when I left. Not quite what we discussed and I was looking to achieve. I was also quite surprised that one of the more senior stylists looked at Mirren s job and said “not bad, could have been way worse”.
If I go to a salon to get my hair professionally done, that’s not what I want to hear. The result must be good if not excellent, no client wants to hear that the result they got is “not bad and would have been worse”.
Overall I would not give 1 star because Mirren was a lively girl which is obviously always nice when interacting with someone.

however in terms of work the salon is not great and I found to be very disappointing

Went and got my hair done today by Stacey, as ever loved it. Went in not knowing 100% what I wanted just that I wanted “dark roots and grey ends” (useful). Stacey, as always, exceeded expectations and I love my new colour! The other girls all helped where needed and are always great to chat to. With everything going on with COVID-19 I felt very safe when I went in, everything wiped down with disinfectant and all the girls wearing visors or masks. Made me feel very relaxed and comfortable with the process. Would recommend to anyone to go here!!

Always welcoming and a lovely experience, although the junior needs a little work on soaking the clients pre cut and being to rough in hair washing. Consideration taken in review, as she is still learning.
