Finally a place where the spiciest level is actually spicy. Food overall is simple and delicious. Waffles and tenders was our favorite. Spicy tenders were on point. Fries when re-toasted at home were good (otherwise get soggy) and comes with a cheese sauce. Mac-n-cheese was no good and shake (Coal miners daughter) was watery.

Location is on a busy Huntington road and if you get curbside pick up, they will bring it out to your car. Just be ready for some cars honking at you for double parking. Also double check your order. The shake was missing in mine.

Had a great experience here! The Nashville Chicken Sandwich was delicious and had a nice kick to it, and the brisket sandwich was also just as great! Also got a strawberry milkshake which hit the spot

Nashville. Home of the Honky-Tonk, the Grand 'Ole Opry, and probably most importantly, Nashville Hot Chicken - or simply 'Hot Chicken' for short.
I have had the pleasure of trying Prince's Hot Chicken on a visit to Nashville many years ago - being the food junkie I am, I asked around and many locals told me that Prince's was where Hot Chicken all began. Food served there is simple: Red plastic basket, checkered paper, two slices of unbuttered white bread, bread and butter pickle slices, and a big piece of perfectly fried chicken, dipped in clarified butter then seasoned with enough hot spices to set a fire in your mouth. Push through the pain, the reward is divine!

Kick'n Chicken makes their own play on Nashville Hot Chicken - they changed a few things up, but the general idea is still there.

The decor is funky: a nice mix of Honky-Tonk, brushed Chrome, neo-warehouse modernism. There are music posters featuring Dolly Parton and Elvis Presley, Edison light bulbs set in industrial looking light fixtures and a cool open area kitchen to let you take a peek in on the action.

The service was speedy, which was great, but the staff were mediocre to luke-warm. You could tell they just wanted you to get your food, pay and move on. I asked about the spice level and the girl at the counter said that all the levels were 'good'. In asking her to elaborate, she shrugged and said, 'that one's spicier that that one'... okay. Thanks.

Now, as for the food, because that's why you read reviews in the first place - I have to say that it was quite good. Not phenomenal, but a solid meal - definitely better than Chick-fil-A who have proclaimed themselves the 'Kings of Fried Chicken'. They do it right here, with a few twists. The chicken is fried perfectly - tender and moist and flavorful, even without a lot of spice. I tried the chicken two ways, 'some heat' and 'hot damn'. Both had the chicken dunked in what I believe to have been a mix of clarified butter and oil, then dusted with a cayenne and chili pepper spice mix. The snack wrap has lettuce and ranch sauce and is served on a warm tortilla. The OG Chicken is served on a soft brioche burger bun with pickles and coleslaw. It's a nice mix and it works well with the chicken. Where I take points off is with the sides. I had tator tots, which I'm a sucker for, but these were disappointing. Over cooked and yet soggy and absolutely bland. That means they were old tots, reheated, and they forgot to re-season them. No Bueno.

All-in-all, I was generally very happy with my meal, with the exception of the tator tots. This seems like a good place to get a spicy chicken sandwich. Is it Nashville Chicken? No, but it's a pretty good modernized version of it.

I called an order into Kick n Chicken. The employee repeated the order back to me & it was has I ordered. When I got there approx 15 minutes later. The food was already packaged for pick-up. I was never given a receipt and when I got home I never received the macaroni & cheese I ordered. The food in general was not that great. I ordered a desert item called waffle peices. It sounded good; broken up peices of waffles with powdered sugar with chocolate or caramel dipping. I choose the chocolate. When I opened the box at home. The box was not only sticky, but there was no powered sugar on the waffles and I got a container of BBQ sauce, instead of chocolate. I also ordered the chicken tenders and waffle. I received one chicken tender covered in powder sugar and the second had nothing on it. The waffle also tasted raw. I was very disappointed and will not go back. No wonder the Smithtown and Farmingdale locations closed. .With service like that, the Huntington location probably wont be in business much longer either.

My friend and I went into Kick’n Chicken in Huntington on a Sunday for dinner. The place was empty. That should have been the first sign. We ordered two meals and sat down. The tables were sticky, the chairs were sticky and the booth was sticky. That should have been the second sign. We get our food and start eating. At one point, I peel myself up to use the restroom. The floors were somehow sticky and slippery at the same time and the whole room smelled like sewage. On the floor is a brown stain from where the toilet should have been if it wasn’t completely crooked. I come back to our meal and my friend pulls back the wax paper on her food to expose a cockroach griddled into the tortilla like a beauty mark from Satan himself. While she appreciated the addition of the extra protein at no cost, this, combined with the general cleanliness of the establishment caused us to bring it to the staff's attention.

The only redeeming factor was the staff quickly offered a refund, seemed mortified by the incident, and offered a replacement meal at no charge. Sorry, but between the sticky front of house, the smelly back of house, and the bug in the food, we decided to not take them up on that offer.

At least the fries looked good.

Went to the Huntington location with my three kids. We’ve been wanting to try it and decided to give it a go today. I ordered two classic chicken sandwich and a smash burger and a Mac & cheese side. After getting acclimated with the aroma and the scenery, all my Spidey senses were on full alert of what was to come. We sat at the tables and they were disgustingly dirty. They were so sticky you could hear your arms peel off of them when resting your elbows down. I asked the girl who was playing on her phone behind the counter if she has anything I can clean the tables with and I got an eye roll and she came out with a dry dingy rag and just wiped everything off onto the floor and rubbed all droppings in to the table. Also, at this poin the smell in the store started to creep in. It’s hard to describe in words, but dirty mop, water and old motor oil comes to mind. Food arrived at the table and mac & cheese was in a tupperware container. When opened it looked like a paste which was barely warm to the touch. The chicken sandwich and fries had a dark brown look that only comes from heavily used old frying oil. Now the Smashburger. It literally looked like somebody smashed it repeatedly with a hammer. The sandwich immediately fell apart when you picked it up. Bottom fell out, and pattys went sliding every which were completely drenched in a cheese sauce to try to hide the carnage. The three patty’s were as thick as a credit card and burnt to a crisp. The three pieces of bacon where is tough as leather. The food was completely inedible as everything had this heavily old frying oil taste from oil that had more mileage than a 20 year old Peterbilt truck. I pointed out the food no to the girl who was still playing on her phone. And I got that’s a Smashburger “That’s the way they are”. After my kids took two they could not eat anymore and everything went to the garbage. The girl could care less as she watched us throw everything out and walk out the store. Upon writing this review, I read other reviews that were very similar and the owner even responded promising change but yet I am leaving a similar review only weeks later and things are still the same. I will never ever ever eat there again! What a waste of $54.

The chicken is good but the ordering experience was honestly so painful and torturous that I'd probably recommend just skipping this one unless you're absolutely dying for fried chicken in a sea of great eateries in Huntington. The guy taking my order seemed like he was trying his absolute hardest to confuse me and himself and get the order wrong, offered an upsell on a combo, I agreed to it, he said they didn't have a combo for that menu item? In the end I ended up getting the wrong spice level on my chicken so I wasn't able to eat it because I don't like super spicy food and wasn't going to wait another 10-15 minutes for them to remake my order (the food is fresh). I tried a friends chicken and it really was very good, unfortunately the service just taints the place.

Also very tiny shop so plan on taking your food to go if it's busy at all. Not a huge deal just something to consider.
