Great to be close to the track!

We camped in Lot N for F1 Grand Prix weekend. We were able to arrive early so we got a spot very close to the Turn 3 gate. with 3 full days of racing back to back, it was so convenient to be able to go back to our trailer to cool off, grab a snack and refresh before going back to the track.

The staff was great. Every person we encountered was friendly and helpful. Thank you to a great team!

It was difficult to get any information ahead of time. An email showed up a few days before that provided a lot more info. I would have appreciated the info sooner.

Amenities are limited but what they provided was great! Clean porta potties, trash pickup at your site, clean showers, and this year free coffee and donuts for breakfast, camper happy hour, free crafts all weekend, petting zoo and super slide for the kiddos. We didn’t end up needing water service or rv dump but it seemed like they were doing a good job.

The camping was fine for us, we usually dry camp so having no facilities was fine. No water, sewer, electric, tables, fires, etc.

We did have two difficulties with our site. The degree of slant of the ground. This was mainly a safety concern hooking/unhooking the truck and trailer. Very few sites were even close to looking level. Be prepared to be able to safely level your RV.

The other issue was the ground in our site was dried and cracked so there were literally deep chasms in the ground. We lost a few items and had to fish them out with a magnet it was so deep. Luckily it was dry but it seems like it would be a mess if it was wet weather. I guess being up higher on the hill would resolve that problem.

Finally it was very expensive to camp in Lot N for F1 weekend. For us it was worth it to be so close and be able to walk back to our RV at the end of the day. Instead of dealing with crowds and traffic after a long day in the sun.
