Fork n Film was absolutely incredible! It was our first visit, and it exceeded all expectations. We brought our nephew as an early birthday surprise, and since he's a huge fan of Ratatouille, it was the perfect choice. At ten years old, he's a bundle of energy, so I wasn’t sure how much he'd enjoy it, but he and my 12-year-old daughter were grinning from ear to ear the entire time. They absolutely loved it!

The food was fantastic and paired perfectly with the movie, creating a truly immersive experience. The adults appreciated the delicious cocktails, while the kids were thrilled with their mocktails. The atmosphere was lively, and the service from the entire team was phenomenal. It was such a fun and memorable outing for everyone. We’ll definitely be back soon!

Do Not Waste Your Money.

Here is the email I wrote them. I have researched and I’m not the only one who had such a poor experience. I’m starting to wonder if it’s a scam. For over $400, for 2 people, save yourself some money and go to a nice restaurant and watch the movie at another theater.

Not in my email but I forgot to add we paid for table 10 and that’s what was on my ticket, but they moved us tables by/behind a pillar, for an influencer to sit in our table. Curious if they paid.

My email:

Hi Fork n Film team,

I first want to start by saying how excited I was for this event! The idea of nostalgic movies and an awesome meal is so cool.

We arrived early, and the musicians were great. From there however, everything went downhill. These tickets are not cheap, so when purchasing, you are paying for the premium food and drinks to make up for it.

To say the least, the food was a 0/10 and the drinks were a 2/10. The pork ribs were insanely dry, I was chewing for minutes. The pie had too much of a vinegar taste. The Mac and cheese was one solid chunk. The waiter took the one drink we liked away because we couldn’t understand what she was trying to ask us.

In terms of venue, the wall glade plug ins are too strong and the air was warm. I was extremely sad that this was our experience, especially because I’ve waited over 3 years to spend the money on this experience, especially for my birthday.

I am happy to leave a review online but understanding this is operated by a young couple, I’d like to give the opportunity to make this right. To spend over $400 dollars on dry pork ribs, bad drinks, and solid Mac n cheese, my ask is for a full refund.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you,
Christine Anderson

I have now gone twice in NYC and both times were absolutely amazing, I will definitely be returning. The food and drinks are amazing and perfectly portioned, I left with a full belly both times. The staff is so great and friendly and the atmosphere is amazing. The live jazz music beforehand was just the perfect addition ?

My sister and I went to see The Little Mermaid and had an amazing time!

Positives:
- Everyone working there from check in, to our hostess, to our server were all SO friendly and seemed like they really loved their jobs. They all made our night so special. The puns were hilarious!
- The VIP seating was nice and spacious for two petite women. I'm not sure about others, but we had just enough room.
- They knew we'd be too full to eat dessert, so I appreciated that they brought it in a to go box beforehand.
- Each dish was so creative and delicious! I did feel that the octopus was a bit overcooked, but every other single dish was filling and so tasty! I particularly liked the eel nigiri and the second cocktail.

Things to work on:
- The check-in line was really long. It would have been nice for there to be 2 people doing check in instead of one person.
- It was a bit too loud. It would have been nice to turn down the sound just a bit.

I've already booked tickets for The Princess and the Frog for London and cannot wait for it!

This is an honest review. The first time I went to see bridesmaids and I honestly did not like most of the food . I said I was going to give it another try . So my friend and I decided to purchase tickets to see coco. I can honestly say this dining experience was a good one. Everything that was on the menu was good . And the service was great. I do not regret going and I will defenitely go again. I know it can be pricey to some but spoiling yourself here and there will not hurt you lol . ( this is a feedback for the one in downtown L.A. )

I went to the 1:00 pm showing of Hocus Pocus in NYC.

I am honestly very shocked at how bad the service was, how disorganized the staff were, and how subpar the food was. If the ticket price was 1/3 or lower than what it was it would have been acceptable but honestly it was not. The high ticket charge indicated to me that I would be receiving high level service and food, however this was not the case.

First, the email indicated that we should come about 30 minutes earlier than the 1:00 pm start time and that late comers might possibly not be permitted.

We arrived at 12:30, was let in maybe 10 minutes after this, and then sat and waited until after 1:30. This felt like a very late start and not a good omen.
Once the movie started, I noticed that the courses were coming out piecemeal and haphazardly. A wedding service had better flow and order. I could not tell which tables were getting served first besides VIPs and then all other tables seemed to be free for all.

The first course of dead man’s toes looked like it was supposed to come out together as soup and breadsticks. However even the VIPs were getting served just the soup and the breadsticks came out at least 10-15 minutes after. For us it was reversed, we got served the breadsticks and did not get the soup until 10 minutes later. The table next to me on my right one girl got a soup, 10 minutes later the other girl got the breadsticks. Then eventually they both got everything but it was very sloppily timed.

The breadsticks were subpar and lazily done to look like toes. For $190+ a ticket you’d think some effort would be put into this.
From there, it was a jumble of courses. Drinks came out whenever and then we were completely skipped for the candle course. I watched as the tables next to us were served this dish and we were forgotten. I had to remind our server that we were not given this and it took 20 minutes for this to be given as they had to heat it up for us. This was probably the best bite of the night as it was actually served to us hot.
The coffin gnocci dish was luke warm, served to us way out of order and late to when it was supposed to on film and the wooden coffin it was served it was nothing more than a stained black wooden box from Michael’s. It had a broken hinge and I really cannot imagine it being considered food grade. So while very cute with the shovel spoon, I was distracted by this. Also this dish was not tasty. I could not taste black truffle in this at all. If it was tastier maybe I would be disappointed that it was only about 4 pieces of gnocci in this but I honestly did not care to eat more of it anyway.
The shrimp pasta was laughable as what I presume to be a main course. 4 pieces of shrimp and not even large shrimp. I struggled to find what the high menu price would be on - breadsticks and soup, arancini, gnocci, and more squid ink pasta. all starches and literally the only protein was 4 pieces of shrimp. I felt cheated that I paid so much for such little return. Food profit margins for you guys must be high though!
The last brownie course tasted good but seemed a little bit cheap - just a printed out graphic on some edible paper. Kind of cute but literally not high end restaurant worthy, which is what this price reflects. This was like a $8 dessert you might get at a bake sale. Not even a fancy fruit drizzle on the plate to try and make some sort of effort to elevate this dish.
Also a photographer went around the whole place and took pictures of everyone - except for our table. I felt excluded but felt less bad when I found out that it was $20. Just seemed like another bit of disorganization to me.
Also the manager at the beginning told us not to take home any props. I could understand about the cast iron cauldron or the coffin and shovel. But the little plastic pumpkin that the candy comes in? For $199+ a person that really couldn’t be included Absolutely came across as stingy.
I am extremely disappointed in my experience and will not be recommending this to anyone I know and will not do this again.

The attention to detail was incredible, and what impressed me the most was how seamlessly they accommodated my gluten-free needs. It felt like I was having the exact same experience as everyone else. The timing of the dishes being on screen versus when they arrived on our plates was flawless. The food quality was truly gourmet, giving even the best restaurants in town some serious competition. It's the perfect spot for a date night or a girls' night out, and I can’t wait to go back!
