Clean room with comfy beds. Quiet guests (at least in the rooms surrounding ours). Well appointed room (mini fridge, microwave, trial size toiletries, etc). Decent continental breakfast. Bathroom needed some attention, particularly the tub/shower. Part of the grab-bar hardware fell off just from being touched, and the water drained very slowly so you kinda took a shower and a bath at the same time. Otherwise this was a very comfortable stay. Would stay again if we end up in the DFW area again.

Checked in on Wednesday for a 1 night stay and was told I was being charged for parking3.85 plus tax. I was told this was on the website which it wasn’t. I was charged this fee on two occasions as well and it show up on your bill as miscellaneous charge. This is a fraudulent charge the website says parking is 0.00. Would advise everybody to check your bill before you leave. This is fraud and needs to be brought to Hilton honors attention. Otherwise rooms were nice and hotel is in nice location. Plenty of food options. And staff is nice. But please check your bills. I will be reporting this to the Better business bureau for their billing practices.

The bad: The room quality was nice, but during our four night stay there was a strong odor of sewer gas. Friends staying described the same in their rooms. We also had an entire day where there was no hot water to shower. When staff were told of the issues, we were simply told that they were sorry to hear this and will get it fixed.

The good: location is close to restaurants and shopping. Rest of the facility is nice and enjoyed the fitness room and lobby area.

The hotel looks recently renovated. I enjoyed the rooms and the breakfast area. The location is very close to the airport and was convenient for my meetings nearby. While there are some dining options in the area, mostly chains, it was quite empty at night during weekdays.

Pros: location is great, prices are fair, room was nice and spacious, free hot breakfast, and indoor pool. The hotel was full but still very quiet.

Cons: there is rippling through the carpet on the first floor and fifth floor (didn’t check other floors). There are multiple, large ripples going down the halls. We had stayed here a couple months ago and thought it would be fixed by our return trip, but it wasn’t. Huge tripping hazard. The floors were dirty in the room and in common areas (I made the mistake of walking around our room barefoot and then also tried to clean up some water I spilled in the breakfast area). The indoor pool isn’t heated so it was very cold. The tile around the pool is incredibly slippery, even when walking slowly it was still slick. Housekeeping comes every other day but just takes out trash and swaps out towels (didn’t make the bed, vacuum, or replace coffee/soaps/etc). The ice machines don’t work on the third, fourth, or fifth floors. The TVs are dated and don’t offer any streaming services, just basic cable (not really an issue for us but thought I would add since I’m writing a review anyway). We had the king suite and there were temperature controls for each room, however, they didn’t work. The living area was at 75 and freezing, while the bedroom was at 70 and warm. The fifth floor was very muggy in the hallway and by the elevator. We could barely get warm water in the morning and at night, the water was extremely hot. We had it on the coolest setting before turning it off and it was still too hot for my kiddo.

Very nice Hotel, clean room, quality, quiet. However..
No hot water! Had to take a cold shower. The staff apologized but no compensation or refund. Breakfast bar doesn't open until 7:00 a.m. SOL if you have an early flight.
Update: in addition to the above, upon registering the room, I was told there would be a additional charge of $60 for incidental occurrence but it would be "pending" and would fall off the changes. No problem as this is the normal everywhere. However, didn't fall off, contacted staff by phone, very polite, they didn't show $60 charge and said to contact my CC bank. Now I have a dispute in progress. Looking into BRB next time. Done with Hotels.

The front desk associate was nit very pleasant. Ask for water and a snack, like the hotel site says they offer. Her response was, "You're too late for the cookies, and we didn't give snacks out."
