The shop is very cute and has a nice variety of BalsamicVinigers! We ordered the Rachel and Ham Deluxe, both were Meh! The Rachel lacked taste, pickled cabbage instead of Sour Kraut was a little let down and that famous sauce that makes a Ruben & Rachel so yummy was missing. The Ham Deluxe on Baggett bread was tough to cut, chew and tore at the roof of mouth, bummer! Another patron near us, ate half his burrito and dropped it off at the service counter and walked out, the staff looked puzzled as to what to do, hmm, he did not look happy as he rapidly exited the meat shop.

All I can say is, "Wow!"

I was in charge of serving a lunch for 14 the next day due to a colleague's medical event. I came to St. Paul Meat Shop for steaks, and I couldn't have been happier about the choice to do so. The staff (Kelly) helped me with options and cut the steaks for me. Though I planned to just buy steak, I ended up getting a number of items from the deli case. All four items were just as fabulous as the meat. Wonderful flavors that interacted so, so well together.

Both of the guys behind the counter were incredibly helpful.

Also - lunch got rave reviews, and (unfortunately) there are 14 folks who had pretty low productivity this afternoon as a result of such a great meal.

WTH. Really, the audacity of this place hiring knowledgeable, friendly staff that help me make selections that lead to the best burgers of my life! Excellent quality and experience every time I visit.

Back during Covid I started smoking meats, like a lot of other people, and one of the first things I smoked was a rack of ribs from these wonderful people. I've since moved to another state and those ribs were the best ribs I've made and I'm still trying to get back to that perfection. They know what they're doing and what they're selling and deserve all good things

Lovely local shop with a surprising number of options! From fresh local meats at fair prices to sandwiches and delicious rotating soups (LOVED the gaspacho) its a neighborhood gem. I also get my dog's knuckle bones here which are hard to find!

The staff here are so knowledgeable and friendly! We asked about a certain cut they don’t usually carry and they not only showed us what part of the animal it comes from but also told us when we’d be able to place a custom order. We only grabbed a couple things from the case but we’ll definitely be back!

I loved this experience! Fella working today wearing glasses made my sandwich and he was so friendly!! And he made me a very fun surprise sandwich! I've never had green beans on a sandwich before, but it was so lovely that I ate basically the whole thing before I decided to do this review. Very clean shop, very tasty meat, and very inviting staff ♡♡

Surprised by how good our brats were. One of the best beer brats I've had.

Also, their original brat is not only tasty but also low fodmap with no garlic/onion, which is hard to find for folks with food sensitivities! They were super helpful when we asked about ingredients and measurements.

Beer brats are a bit spendy but definitely worth it. I'll be stopping by again soon!
