Zero stars. The most neglectful and careless doctors surgery I've ever witnesses. Staff are clueless about anything real besides what they read in a book and that if you can even get through to their Staff as it takes 7 days a week 8hours a day to get through to them.

I've just reported them to my mp and I'm taking it further with the health board as they are not fit for their purpose

They're just shocking. Long waits, half the doctors don't read your file and spend half the time guessing.
The 2 good doctors that are there are amazing but you never see them.

Another day spent trying to get through to doctor. 14 calls, two please hold responses from reception resulting in two 20 minute waits, with no result I gave up. I was trying to contact re test results from 4 weeks ago. If there was a lower rating available I would have given it. This is frankly an appalling attempt at a medical service

This surgery has become unfit for purpose, I can't get to even talk to a doctor never mind see one
When they don't send all the meds you were expecting it's also a nightmare to even get a receptionist to answer
They don't have enough doctors and staff to cover the amount of patients they have taken on
Patients are being left without gp services for no reason other than the people running it aren't up to the job
It's time for a replacement system to be implemented where patients can allocated to different surgeries which are smaller and can cope better with demand
We all realise things are tighter these days but there must be a better way for people to get a prescription or see a GP
This surgery has bitten off way more than it can handle and patients are suffering
It's time the authorities stepped in and sorted this situation out
I would rate this surgery as a minus 9 stars if I could
If we all complain enough hopefully eventually something will improve

My daughter has had numerous blood and urine samples lost in the system of this very unprofessional surgery.
Very poor relationship from doctors,nurses down to an egotistic receptionist with patients.

Must be the worst Practice on Earth. I’m told they have circa 23,000 patients snd one permanent Doctor.

If you can get them to answer the phone you are God.

I cannot believe that on their website they are actually still giving an option to register here. It is a disgrace. The phone system would be a joke if it wasn't for the fact that we are talking about something so serious.

You cannot get through! I most recently tried for 2 days. Around 350 calls later I decided to go up. Shut for lunch with no sign to say so. Just a locked door. Great! Just put a queue system on the calls or better yet earn a living and answer a phone. Total joke. We are just going to have to go to A&E. They should be ashamed.

⚠️AVOID THIS PRACTICE!⚠️
❌You cannot make an appointment face-to-face for some bizarre reason.
❌It's virtually impossible to get through on the phone.
❌They don't even put you on hold, they just say, "The on-call service is busy" and hang up.
❌They tell you to request repeat prescriptions 48 hours in advance - but it consistently takes them 7 days
❌They are so bad some Airdrie pharmacies have signs up saying "Sorry. We don't accept prescriptions from Welwynd Practice"
❌Some reviews complaining of these same things are 5 years old - they clearly do not care.
